I had the chance to make a humble addition to Ultimo’s “myth” in my IRON MAN - Heavy Rain short story. I imagined he IS the “last” (“ultimo” in Italian) giant weapon created to defend/destroy worlds and “showed it” by having Iron Man meet & fight an older version of the same kind of weapon I referred to as Primo (first, just for fun) in the script.
